Doctoral candidates that I want to supervise

My focus areas (research that I want to supervise) - I set this up for Middlesex University (UK) and KMU Akademie in Austria but it is the same for all other universities as well. Hopefully I will get some more Doctoral candidates to supervise.

1. Interdisciplinary: research where solutions found in other disciplines are used to solve business problems. As an example on MBA level,, I supervised a student that used the sigmoid equation (used to estimate growth in micro organisms) to estimate company growth. She then used this estimate growth, instead of assuming constant growth in the Gordon model for valuations.

2. Artificial Intelligence to solve business problems: Like data science to do market segmentation in marketing. Artificial intelligence in strategy. Artificial intelligence to optimise production in Operations.

3. Corporate actions: Includes mergers, acquisitions, International expansions. Relevant MBA modules (International management, corporate governance, Finance, HR, entrepreneurship, etc.)

4. There is a textbook that highlights the jumps in logic and some major errors in the knowledge base of Corporate Finance (Financial management). Sorting out these gaps would require hundreds of doctoral studies, even Nobel prizes. If a doctoral candidate is searching for a research problem to solve, I suggest they download this text book. Some of these problems will require an understanding of mathematics as the underlying models come from science (even quantum physics).

5. Any student that wants to do research that falls outside the normal - like a student that wants to triangulate using four different qualitative methods. A candidate that wants to use research methods that are normally used in engineering or natural sciences and not in management. A candidate that wants to use more sophisticated modeling than structural equation modeling. Students that want to use "Story telling" or laminations as qualitative research methods.
